Our client is a global investment manager with a strong presence in Asia. They are looking to hire an Equity Analyst for their Global Strategy Fund.

Responsibilities

As a healthcare industry expert, you will conduct deep dive research and generate high conviction investment ideas for the global healthcare sector, with a focus on U.S healthcare. Working closely with the Portfolio Manager and investment team, you are able to derive insights on industry trends and form a view on the impact these have on companies under your coverage. Regular engagement with company management, investor relation teams and sell-side analysts form a major part of your investment research. You will conduct primary, bottoms up research, develop robust financial models, perform valuations, prepare investment proposals, support portfolio tracking and portfolio review.

Requirements

You have outstanding academic qualifications and 5-10 years of relevant equity research and investment experience in global healthcare. You possess a high level of technical competence and proven success generating investment ideas in this sector. Your outstanding writing and communication skills will enable you to effectively present and engage with the CIO and Investment Committee on investment ideas. You are enthusiastic about incorporating ESG principles in investing.
